Alaran Kathstar

Name: Alaran Kathstar

Backround: Alaran is a surface born dark elf/human, his father escaped the
Underdark and came to the surface. Upon his arrival he came upon a druids forest
under attack, bandits and thugs were destroying her grotto. He dispatched the thugs
within minutes and took care of the human, shortly months later they had fallen in love
and years later the two had a child. Alarans father taught him combat skills, he excelled
exceptionally well with the scimitar and dagger. His father crafted him a special dagger and
scimitar when his training was completed, at age eighteen he was ready. The dagger was
crafted of darksteel, mithril and wind Djinn's soul. With a simple mind command from Alaran
the dagger returns to Alarans left hand, its light and balanced making it the perfect throwing
weapon. The scimitar is crafted of the same metal but it has the soul of a pitfiend infused
with the metal giving the blade a red glow. The scimitars blade glows red when the blade
strikes its target it burns the area badly causes massive pain or material damage. A few years
later alarans father was late returning home from a hunting trip, he went out looking for him
only to find his dead body it was riddled with arrows. His mother performed a funeral service
and they buried him in the grotto they all lived in, Alaran stayed with his mother and studied
druid magic and shape shifting. He stayed at home til his mother passed, after her burial
he set out into the world to find his place in the world.



strengths: Alaran is a master of his two weapon fighting style, can cast druid magic and
can shape shift into a dire bear.

weakness: Alarans shapeshifting leaves him drained afterwards and must rest before he battles again
it also restricts him from casting his magic. Alaran finds it hard to trust people, so meeting
new people keeps him on his guard.[code]
